In the early 1970’s, as part of the exciting and highly successful UNCOLA team for 7UP, I participated first hand in using the power of marketing to turn a lemon-lime bubbly soft drink into an international household word. It was more than selling a soft drink, it was a catchy universal message of empowerment. Be true "UN" to yourself ! Be "UN-ovative", share your "UN-iqueness", promote "UN-derstanding!" Wow! if fun could do this for a soft drink, I only imagined what it could do for promoting the values of education, environment and organizational health.
