When I was very young, I was given a tiny Magnolia Sapling for my birthday. That tree was one of the best gifts I could have ever received and fostered a lasting appreciation for the simple things in life . . . fresh air, water and growth. My tree was much more than a stick with leaves on it, it was protective shade from the summer's sun, refreshing oxygen, home for birds, welcomed shelter from the wind and most of all a lifetime connection with my aunt and uncle that gave me that tree.

This thoughtful gift of lasting kindness encouraged me to find a way to make it easy for others to plant a tree in honor of someone or a special occasion. It's a great gift to arrive in person with a special tree for someone and plant it together, but if that isn't possible, you can still create a beautiful connection between you and the receiver with our "Gift of a Tree" program.

About the Trees and Planting Area:

Your purchase price of $8.95 for one tree, or $18.95 for a three tree grove, plants and cares for trees in a protected watershed area. Your True Nature, Inc. has sponsored the planting many thousands of trees and we are pleased to partner with the non-profit organization Trees, Water and People in overseeing the planting and care of your tree. The planting area is in the Magdalena Watershed area in El Salvador. Native trees including Mahogany, Cedar and White Pine are selected for their beauty and wonderful and numerous benefits. Trees, Water and People were featured on the November 2001 National Geographic special for this innovative and beautiful project. Your planting will go into this very special area and provide a gift not only to the person you choose, but to the earth as well. It's as easy as 1, 2, Tree!

Here's how it works: Each "Gift of a Tree" kit you order contains a beautiful card for you to send to the recipient announcing your gift of having a tree planted, and a postcard for you to send to us, to let us know to plant the tree(s).

	YOU send the beautiful gold embossed greeting card, from the "Gift of a Tree" kit you purchased, to the person(s) that you are planting the tree for. (Please Note: Your True Nature does not send the greeting card or any correspondence directly to the recipient).
	YOU mail the postcard to us, letting us know the occasion and person(s) you are planting the tree for. When we receive the post card, Trees, Water and People will plant your tree. Both you and the recipient can see the planting area by visiting the Planting Trees area on our website.
