Embracing the changing of seasons

Nature enthusiasts rejoice! As summer gradually fades away, cooler weather brings the beauty of changing seasons. Nature steps into the spotlight and puts on a captivating show. This time of year brings out wildlife, and opportunities to create family traditions too!

As the cooler weather sets in, leaves start to turn and fall, creating picturesque landscape plus chances to spot wildlife. A variety of animals will be more visible and easily spotted. Be on the lookout!  Keep an eye out for deer, squirrels, foxes, and various bird species become more visible, offering a memorable opportunity to observe them in their natural habitats.

Reminder! Respect wildlife and their habitat: Remember to maintain a safe distance with binoculars or a telephoto lens for close-up views without intruding on their space.

Beyond the changing weather and wildlife, there are just so many memorable fall traditions to experience. Explore local area farmers markets and autumn festivals. Visit a local Oktoberfest with food, festivities with traditional music and dancing.  Support local area farms to pick apples or hunt for perfect pumpkins (it is pumpkin spice everything time after all). And the most traditional of them all?  The State Fair where folks compete in a variety of exhibits for ribbons, you can discover fun foods and fads, and connect with the traditions whose roots all go back to the family farm.

From mountaintops to the valleys, the spectacular colors of nature are calling you to explore this amazing season.  What is one of your favorite fall traditions?
